Granite House delivers the best bespoke work surfaces and services throughout the UK; supplying a range of stunning materials such as granite, marble, limestone and quartz. They aren’t just limited to creating beautiful domestic kitchens but also industrial, retail and hospitality bars and work areas. With the best machines and a dedicated team, they achieve the highest quality finished product.
The team at Granite House wanted to build their online presence so that they could increase brand awareness and be introduced to a range of new clients, as well as showcasing their current projects.
Our main challenge was to transform the current social media channels and create high quality, engaging content that is posted consistently at the optimal times to be seen by a larger number of people.
We also were given the task to improve the current SEO status of the Granite House website so that it would rank higher on search engines.
At Sood Marketing, we build the social media platforms so that each one is consistent with the brand’s message and aesthetic. For Granite House, we introduced two new platforms that we believed would be great for increasing the reach of a larger target audience. By launching the TikTok and Pinterest accounts for the company, we have been able to reach a new audience. We adapt our content writing to appeal to their B2B audience and create unique video content for them to stand out from their competitors. Whilst managing the social media channels we also made website improvements to give a better user experience.

To promote their website, services and stone range we created a monthly calendar complete with a breakdown of all content to be posted. Content included social media feed posts, stories, Tik Tok and Instagram Reels, Case Study blog posts and more. As a result of our social media work over a short time working with Granite House,
we increased their engagement across all platforms by 2,425.
We revamped the website making changes to the ‘Brands’ page so that it had a more efficient layout and flowed better. Replacing the images so that the website looked higher quality, gives customers a better experience when trying to shop for their choice of material. In addition to this, we also inserted more text into the website which works towards increasing the company’s SEO ranking on Google. The higher the rankings the more likely they are to be exposed and seen by more potential customers, turning clicks into consumers. SEO rankings are a great way of competing with your competition so that you are seen and chosen over them.
We transferred Granite House to our web hosting platform, Barruko, allowing us to provide real-time monitoring to ensure that the website was functioning to a high standard. We worked on page speed improvements and SEO content writing to boost the rankings of Granite House in the Search Engine Results Page (SERP). While it is still early days, we have seen many of our selected keywords jumping up the rankings and we expect many of them to reach a top position within the coming months.
We have more than met the challenges given by Granite House we began working together. We look forward to continuing our work and communication with this them, assisting in their ongoing online growth.
Driving SEO efforts over the past few weeks have started to show a return on investment (ROI). Since our SEO work started in the latter half of March, we have seen:
- Nearly 3000 new organic page visits in under 2 months
- New rankings for the ‘Brands’ page, with many new keywords placing us on the first page within a month and a half
- Mobile and Desktop ranking increases to the double digits
- 13 keywords in the top 3 position
Our traffic forecasts are very strong, and we are continuing to monitor and update Granite House as part of our monthly work.
